Agency client looking for a highly creative Social Copywriter to join their efforts in creating on-trend outstanding social campaigns.

The Social Copywriter we're looking for to join our team excels in real-time creative environments and lives for internet culture. In this role, you will develop outstanding, on-trend social campaigns and guide the end to end creative process from conceptualization through production. While the Studio resources can be engaged if needed, you embrace an independent creative process, embody the true maker-spirit of the Lab, and have proven skills in producing your own content.

You will report to a Group Creative Director who oversees the brand’s voice and long-term marketing efforts. The Social Copywriter (in partnership with a Social Art Director and a Motion Designer/Editor) delivers complete campaigns. As a mid-level team member, you will provide mentorship to junior teammates and interns.

You Will:

In direct collaboration with the Social Art Director and Motion Designer/ Editor, your responsibilities include:

  • Completing ongoing deliverables:
  • Social campaign creative with messaging and concepts
  • Ad hoc content requests
  • Real-time responsive creative
  • Integrating the brand’s established tone of voice into social creative in a compelling, valuable, and authentic way
  • Understanding new social media content best practices and what other organizations and companies are creating
  • Leading the research and marketing of case studies and innovations within the real-time social space
  • Identifying trends and patterns in user behavior associated with more immediate social content
  • Developing an ongoing editorial calendar with copy and concepts that align with brand voice/tone

You Have:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a creative agency delivering social-first content
  • Demonstrable experience writing copy and conceptual ideas for brands
  • Passion and understanding of today’s social media landscape and the best practices as it relates to each unique platform
  • Inspiration driven by on-trend and excellent creative work
  • Experience creating brand work centered on innovation and authenticity
  • Passion for creating NOW content that resonates with consumers
  • Desire to interact with great branded and unbranded content from across the web
  • Sensibilities to work quickly and independently, with some ambiguity
